The Mission Committee meets and plans ways the members of Westminster can assist in the local missions of our community. The following organizations are supported by Westminster and you are invited to contribute or participate.

LOCAL MISSION |
|
|
Drop-In Shelter at Grace Episcopal Church receives help from members of Westminster in preparing and serving food at the homeless shelter. Your help is needed in both areas.
|
|
|
Allied Drive Food Pantry On the first Sunday of each month, when we celebrate the Lord's Supper, we bring groceries for the food pantry. We have also chosen Thanksgiving and "Thanksgiving in July", when pantry shelves are often empty, for extra giving. Contact Dave Granquist.

|
Allied Partners: The Wellness Center has a mission of promoting holistic health and wellness for the neighborhood. It is staffed by a community parish nurse who provides individual contact and group programs.

|
Meals on Wheels Westminster provides volunteers to deliver meals on Wheels on Sunday noon several months each year.
|
|
|
Eviction Prevention Fund aims to increase housing security in the Allied-Dunn’s Marsh neighborhood by preventing homelessness caused by a sudden and unexpected housing crisis.
|
|
|
Pres House On the campus of the UW Madison, the Pres House reaches out to the entire campus community with a Sunday evening worship service followed by fellowship and dinner, which Westminster prepares, provides and serves once a month. Help and assistance is always welcomed and needed. (web link)

The Crossing is a campus ministry in Madison that supports students as they encounter major spiritual, physical and world crossings in their lives. Westminster serves one meal a year. (web link)
