Pulpit Concerns: 1. Installation service of Alex Thornburg – 2. Define a policy statement, process and list of
procedures suggested for the pastor, Worship Committee and/or office staff to
use in securing and working with individuals concerning: - Pulpit Supply - Funeral services - Wedding ceremonies These procedures would include information and suggestions
for services and scriptures as well as use of the building and scheduling
items. 3. Pulpit supply for Sunday, Nov.
26 and Sunday, Dec. 31. 4. Begin a discussion of holding
two worship services on Sunday mornings at Define
criteria to be used for that discussion. B.

Baptism The worship committee will formulate a statement on
baptism to be used along with a book for parents and families with children
being baptized that will answer when, where, what, how often baptisms occur,
who meets with the family, the instructions before, during and after the
baptism. b.
Communion - Decision for when communion is served and with what
method is used. - Review how many servers needed and the directions for
communion servers. - List of past elders and deacons and how to enlist their
services as communion servers. Communion Calendar
for the remainder of 2006: 1. World Communion Sunday, October 1: Children and Youth
will help prepare the communion elements with breads from through out the

in sanctuary: Evangelism Committee will use the “I Am the Vine” banner and
leaves to be placed in the sanctuary Aug 27 and remain until ------ Evangelism

19 -Thanksgiving Sunday: the - Report on the hymnals and Bibles located
in the pews. Discussion of what should be included in the pews and what needs
updating: hymnals, Bibles, year books, deacon materials, welcome materials,
pencils and welcome information. III. Budget Items: A. Advertising: - Review the 2006 and
discuss the 2007 advertising budget: the process, the products and
effectiveness of our print communications used throughout the year in
newsletters, bulletins, newspaper and yellow pages. Prepare a budget to send to Session for
approval. B. Music: C. Final report and
evaluation of the pulpit and lectern Volunteers from the Worship
